Before you say Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., think hard about who you would consider mentioning. What about these guys-

Mike Tyson went 37-0 (33) overall and 10-0 (8KO) in HW World Title bouts. He beat Hall of Famers Larry Holmes KO4 and Michael Spinks KO1. He also beat world titleholders Ratliff, Berbick, Smith, Thomas, Tucker, Tubbs, and Bruno. He was 23 when he lost to Douglas and went undefeated for almost 5 years.

Evander Holyfield went 28-0 (22) overall and 10-0 (7) in CW and HW World Title bouts. He beat Hall of Famers Dwight Qawi W15 and KO4, Carlos Deleon KO8, George Foreman W12, and Larry Holmes W12. He also beat world titleholders Booze, Ocasio, Parkey, Thomas, Dokes, and Lineal HW Champ Buster Douglas. He was 30 when he lost to Bowe and had been undefeated for 8 years.

Larry Holmes went 48-0 (34) overall and 21-0 (15) in HW World Title bouts. He beat Hall of Famers Ken Norton W15 and Muhammad Ali KO10. He also beat world titleholders Ocasio, Weaver, Berbick, Leon Spinks, Witherspoon, and Smith. He was 35 when he lost to Michael Spinks and had been undefeated for 12 1/2 years.

Joe Frazier went 29-0 (25) overall and 10-0 (8KO) in HW World Title bouts. He beat Hall of Famers Jimmy Ellis KO5, Bob Foster KO2, and Muhammad Ali W15. He also beat notable fighters like Bonavena x2, Machen, Jones, Chuvalo, Mathis, and Quarry. He was 29 when he lost to Foreman and had been undefeated for 7 1/2 years.

Oscar De La Hoya went 31-0 (25) overall and 20-0 in World Title bouts at JLW, LW, JWW, and WW. He was 26 1/2 when he lost a BS decision to Trinidad and had been undefeated for almost 7 years.

Michael Spinks certainly deserves consideration. Only 31 fights, but serious achievements in there.

Somewhat ironically that disqualifies The Kid from Culiacan too then...

Technically yes, but I don't go along with that personally. Montell Griffin was done and had no chance to win if he was even getting up. It's a lot like the DQ loss that Terry Norris had or the one that cost Evander Holyfield gold at the Olympics.

I also don't count fights that are stopped on cuts like the recent Donaire fight or Lewis vs Klitschko as legitimate wins either.

Sometimes I disagree with the call and the way a fight was reffed. The Agbeko vs Mares fiasco was ridiculous. So was the Mayweather vs Ortiz match. Duran vs Buchanan I actually don't hold too much against Duran since he was dominating and had already done enough to win.

Then there are cases where the judges get it all wrong like Mayweather vs Castillo I, Pacquiao vs Bradley I, Chavez Jr vs Vera I, etc.

No, the reality was he was disqualified, nothing technical about that. What are you suggesting is a technicality, and a pretty weak one at that, from the point of view of the rules of the sport.
