I've seen films of one or two, but good fighters don't compete in them. Ergo, they don't interest me. I already watch MMA. Many on these boards also do. And it does have a surprisingly long history (pre-1900). I'm curious about your point, though...:think

But this was the situation in the big majority of cases in the prehistory of boxing you are so keen on. Of course it has , since before the human race existed. My point is that most of those fights are closer to toughman contests and bareknuckle boxing with their lighter gloves , different rules and quality of fighters (there were a few exceptions). And the more than 12 rounds actually make it worse . Want stamina to play a bigger role ? make a 1 round last man standing. Don't expect a fighter to shine a lot when he knows he has 15 *3 minutes rounds before him. want excitement ? make a first knockdown contest - faller loser.
