Tyson was better than Foreman, Frazier and liston :yikes Liston was better than a prime Foreman :yikes Tomatoe Cans you ask? Turn on ESPN Classics they show him beating up cab drivers and janitors on a daily basis.
how was liston better then a prime Tyson ? his only noted win was Floyd Patterson and he only defended the title once lost it and never held it again afterwards or even considered a threat to the title ..
And Tyson did what? His noted win agaisnt Patterson is more impressive then anythign Tyson did at all. And Liston lost the title to Ali in one of the greatest eras of Heavyweight boxing history.
Palease man you got to be Joking right ?!?! The man made one title defense against a guy that was scared going into both fights. Tyson on the other cleaned out the devision and fought the best that the devision had to offer not only did he clean out the devision he did it in spectacular fashion ..All liston has is a reputation that translated into one title win , liston does not even come close to achieving what tyson has done.
really lets looks this, both fighter have KO power Speed -Tyson combination punching -tyson Stamina -Tyson Chins - Tyson punching -power Id give the edge to Forman but in this case it really does matter both fighter can lay you out flat but tyson had a better delivery system to both the body and the head. Id favor a fast prime tyson over a prime slow prodig forman.
really you mean the way Razor hammered his chin in there first fight and tyson kept coming forward .. or when he took his beating on his feat in his lost against Holyfield 1 .. The only thing you can hold against Tyson is his self-destruction of himself had this not happen who know what this man could have accomplish ,but what little he did in the short time frame he did it, is nothing short of Amazing .
Ali didn't look unbeatable against Doug Jones or when he nearly got KO'd and was saved against Henry Cooper. Fighting Tyson would've been like fighting some kind of Frazier/Foreman hybrid but with speed, combinations and better defense.
The only time Tyson failed to conquer someone as a pro was after Rooney left. His defensive skills were on a big decline and he was becoming a head hunter. The fighters that beat him never fought the real Tyson trained under Rooney (and Cus).
