Usyk is a good fighter, he passes the eye test as one and proved it at cruiserweight , I just want to see how he handles a heavyweight who puts pressure on him.

Thank you mr C. I don't know were
I don't need to name call to get a point across, after all it's just an opinion. Usyk opponents, and Usyk himself don't do anything for me. In my opinion their very Robotic in the ring
Only a clown resort to name calling on a different opinion, and simple debate. Something I'm sure an internet Rambo like yourself wouldn't say to another man's face. I see you singled out Qawi's height as some insurmountable disadvantage. But obviously you don't understand he used that disadvantage as a advantage, and he when in shape and focused out jabbed most opponents he fought. And if you truly understood how he fought and what made him successful, his lack of height wouldve been the very last thing you would've mentioned. It tells me how much you truly understand what your seeing. Or lack of what you've seen. And your knowledge of boxing probably started with Wikipedia and undefeated records. Even if it's only 17 pro fights.

If could've seen Usyk take on 3 CWs, I'd say Dorticos, Makabu & Lebedev.

Usyk has beaten multiple opponents who were significantly better than Wilder. While there are no superstars at Cruiserweight. Usyk's resume is one of the most solid out there for a pound for pound guy. His resume is better than Lomachenko's and shits on Crawford's.

Usyk is one of the greatest CWs of all time, acheived during a time when the division was stacked.

Time will tell if he can achieve prominance as a HW...

    WBC cruiserweight champion
    WBA cruiserweight champion
    IBF cruiserweight champion
    WBO cruiserweight champion

Unified the CW division in just 15 fights

    Ring Magazine champion
Ranked #5 P4P by The Ring Magazine
Winner of the Muhammad Ali trophy
Olympic gold medalist (would've been a 2 x gold medalist IMO had he not been robbed in Beijing), World Amateur gold & bronze medalist, European gold & bronze medalist

In just 17 fights Usyk has already beaten 5 world champions, 3 of whom were current world champions

To add a little perspective to that, Terence ''Bud'' Crawford has only beaten 7 in 36 fights and he has only fought outside the sanctuary of his homeland once and former P4P champ Andre Ward only beat 6 in 32 fights and he had home advantage and home refs for all those fights.

    Usyk Beat

WBA and IBF champ Gassiev (26-0) in Russia
Beat WBC champ Briedis (23-0) in Latvia
Beat WBO champ Glowacki (26-0) in Poland
Beat former long reigning WBO champ Huck (40-4-1) in Germany
Beat former WBC champ Bellew (30-2-1) in the UK
Beat the streaking Michael Hunter (12-0) in the US
Beat Mchunu (17-2) on neutral soil

All of those guys are serious bangers sans the super slick and awkward Mchunu who can crack a little bit himself when he wants to and Gassiv and Briedis are 2 of the biggest punchers in the sport.

None of those guys came close to dropping or seriously hurting Usyk and I can't think of any fighter on the planet who has fought that many savage punchers and legit bangers in their last 7 fights, let alone fought them in their backyards and guess what neither can you.

Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year (2018)
ESPN Fighter of the Year (2018)
Sports Illustrated Fighter of the Year (2018)
CBS Fighter of the Year (2018)
Boxing Writers Association of America Fighter of the Year (2018)
Boxing News Fighter of the Year (2018)

Usyk won all his world titles in his opponent's backyards and hasn't had a single home country ref or judge for any of his world title fights.

Very athletic, highly skilled, has speed of both hand and foot, high ring IQ, great footwork and punch variety, extremely smooth and fluid in his movement for a big man and just a supremely talented boxer with beautiful skills. He's also very humble and has an immensely likeable personality, is a gent and a scholar both in and out of the ring, has bags of charisma, and he is an utterly fearless road warrior who relies on clean boxing to win fights and zero deck-stacking and dice loading and on top of all that he's hilarious

Mainstream media attention doesn't define the quality of a division. Cruiserweight definetly did had an argument for being the best, from 2014 to 2018.

    Usyk
    Gassiev
    Dorticos
    Briedis
    Lebedev
    Wlodarczyk
    Huck
    Drozd
    Bellew
    Makabu
    McHunu
    Glowacki
    Fırat
    Kudryashov
    Afolabi
    Vlasov
    Hunter Jr.
    Kalenga
    Bejenaru
    Goulamirian
    Merhy
    Egorov

That's just off top of my head, not counting guys like Gomez, Mike Perez, Cunningham, Maccarinelli because they didn't do much in that time frame. There's only 1 p4p level talent on this list, but each and every one of these guys were/are quality operators and brought a lot of exciting fights.

If your criteria is the # of p4p level talents, than you can say It wasn't the best. But It was the deepest and the most stacked division.

He totally dominated the cw division and has ring iq and talent in bundles. Proper fighter, counter, front foot, fast hands, faints, venumeus jab, rare all-rounder class act... Think he will struggle with he big boy's tho, hits hard for his weight but personally can't see him knocking over AG or TF. Would definitely take some rounds off both
