Who did you feel could beat Roy Jones in his prime before you saw him get KOed?

Do you really think that Jones could beat Bob Foster, Archie Moore, Moorer, or Spinks? We are talking about the all time greats here, not the stiffs he fought at 68 and 75? Traver, and Johnson put Jones to sleep. He wasn't really strong enough to fight at 75. I can think of at least ten other Ltheavys that could beat Jones. Let me guess your next post is that he is a top ten heavyweight because he beat Ruiz? Look who he has fought. I never got the whole Roy Jones thing that some people have with him? You all seem blinded to the facts. Can you imagine Bob Foster fighting the same guys Jones did?

I'd make Jones the favorite against Archie Moore, and Michael Moorer. Against Foster I think it's about 50/50, only one I'd favorite against Jones is Spinks.

Before roy was beaten and his chin shown to be vulnerable, I dont think anyone could favour anyone over him. He had all the ability in the world with no known weaknesses.

Hopkins was pretty competitive with him. Clear victory for Roy, but by no means a domination.

It just wasn't a typical Roy domination, but a domination nonetheless. All's Hopkins did was competitively lose almost every round.

Bull****, he was more than strong enough to fight at 175. His problem is that his athleticism had diminished by his mid 30's and he didn't change his game to compensate. If you think Tarver and Johnson put a prime Roy Jones to sleep then we can end the conversation right here because I won't waste my time arguing with ignorance. Do I think Roy could beat these guys? Yeah, and I also think they could beat him. I won't pretend to know 100% for sure either way.
