I got most of those wrong except Leonard vs Norris. Something told me he Ray was ready to be taken

Good stuff! Those were magical days for me as a kid. I started boxing when I was nine years old and have been obsessed ever since. I was lucky to have a supportive father that taught me the sport and I cherish the memories of watching those fights with him. I lost him in 99'.

That's awesome that you recorded the fight on cassette. I use to do stuff like that before we got a VCR lol. I remember my dad talking about listening to fights on the radio when he was a kid in the 40's and 50's. Too this day I prefer listening to baseball on the radio.

Radio broadcasts of fights were a major thing back in the 40's & 50's I believe. Not sure that's even a thing these days though. Leonard-Hagler was the only one I can remember that I ever listened to live on the radio.
