Glass Jaw Roy and there is no comparison. The man's entire career was a carefully crafted dog-and-pony show where he ducked the most dangerous opponents while cherrypicking vacant and otherwise worthless trinket titles from the worst belt holder he could find in the division he was manuevering through. After beating up fat, Feather Fisted sloth John Ruiz in what was one of the biggest cherrypicks and publicity stunts of all-time, he ducked the real HW Champion and his Mandatory, Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko respectively, and ran back to LHW only to have his Glass Jaw violently shattered there. He is a Joke and a disgrace to Boxing.

Neither. Roy was a God in the ring. Floyd Mayweather has never disappointed in it.

I actually thought that Roy Jones was the best fighter EVER when he was at his peak - then he started to lose and damaged his rep.

Actually, I thought Lou Esa was the greatest fighter ever. :happy

OOPS! There I go again. :yep

I mean Floyd disappointing because of ducking so many fighters and quotes like "self preservation comes first"
Roy was a "god" in the ring cause he was in the ring with 90 % bums.

I think Floyd disappointed more his fans, but also gave them more satisfactions. Example: the dominating performances, the third lineal title, the fights against De la Hoya and Hatton, the fight against Mosley.

Jones never disappointed so much. Perhaps when he was old. But, generally speaking, he fought a lost of unknowns.

one fighter is cleaning the sport up day by day, and the other was found to have 6 times the normal amount of testosterone in his system the 1st time he was ever drug tested in his professional career.

Some of Roy's fans thought he was a god. People only think Floyd has godly skills

Roy beat two legends, fought his rival, gave him a rematch, and after losing, gave him another; if there's anything disappointing about Roy, it's that he was too good for most fighters around in his prime, and that he hung around too long.

While Floyd beat great fighters and isn't solely to blame for the fallout of a Pacquiao fight, his long vacations, complicated negotiation requests, and the fact that the fight that is supposed to define his legacy is all but squandered has definitely left people more disappointed.
