In interviews,he actually comes across as a decent guy,and is always in exciting fights. Dont know why people "hate" him to be honest. I can understand the racists, but outside of that,i dont really get it.
I don't dislike the guy, in fact.. I think he's a genuinely nice guy. Although, he does look the good part of a twat with some of his foot in mouth comments, at times.
Racists are scared he has the ability to go to the very top. Dont want o see a young british ****stani do well. Want to drag him down and are aggravated by the fact their sneering insults just bounce straight off of him. That's probably not why everyone dislikes him but their certainly is a Large element that do just for that reason. Especially in the UK.
May be true for some but I personally don't care about his race, he's just extremely irritating and massively overrated. His accent is annoying, his face is annoying, his boxing style is annoying, the **** he talks is annoying, his overratedness is annoying, even his trainer is ****ing annoying. I'd go so far as to say he's the most annoying fighter on Earth right now, so forgive me for feeling happy when I see him getting his head punched in.
He's an annoying and dirty fighter. As soon as Garcia started landing hard power shots on him he brought out the pushes, head pulling, and the elbows again. Besides Garcia's low blow, which was shown to go hand in hand with Khan pulling his head down, I can't think of any fouls by Garcia.
Can't backup his talk. If he really was everything that's right with boxing he would of brought justice against Garcia for fussing his nations, culture.. **** his whole career. He failed though.
I don't dislike him. I'm a fan He has his flaws Sometimes says things which maybe he himself doesn't realise are stupid The guy got me into this amazing sport. I can only thank him and hope he can make it back to the top. Wish he fought Tim Bradley at the end of 2011... things could have been so different right now.
I have no idea why people dislike him, I really don't. I don't see any of this arrogance, or cockiness people talk about; he is no more, nor no less confident in himself than any other world class boxer. So he talks about wanting to fight Mayweather despite not proving himself worthy - who the hell doesn't? Just about every boxer after they pick up one, or two premier wins starts dropping his name. . .
there are many good things about Khan but unfortantly sucsess made him arrogant and that has been his downfall. also he was a boxing phenom at 17 and made a decent start as a pro. but he has been exposed as having a weak chin and no inside game, for some reason he does not seem able to devolp but he keeps acting like he is a p4p great.
After watching the Peterson fight you should know Khan would have lost to Bradley too. Bradley is too tough, too smart and would get inside Khan. All Khan would do is run away but it would not be enough to keep Bradley off him. Truth is Khan's best wins to date are (old) Judah and Maidana and Bradley's resume shits all over Khans, even if you consider that Pac beat him.
Can you cite anything he has ever said, or done that makes him so arrogant? Don't you think that you HAVE to believe you can beat anybody if you ever want to have a chance at the top level in boxing? Don't all boxers who pick up a few wins in the limelight start dropping names like Mayweather, who they obviously aren't worthy of fighting yet? I've never heard him slag off any other boxer (that hasn't slagged him off first), or say anything that stands out as arrogant. I've just heard him talk like he believes in himself, and has confidence to beat anybody. There is certainly nothing unlikable about that; if so, every boxer must be arrogant, and unlikable, cause I've never heard a boxer not talk like that.
I like him, support him more due to the hate he gets, especially from UK fans. Although i prefer Brook i still support Amir.
I love winding up the haters too, so easily done, it seems their entire life is tied to how Amir does in the ring. When he loses they are ecstatic , when he wins I suspect a number of them commit suicide
