Bugner was born in Hungary but he moved to England at the age of five. He was raised in England.

Lennox Lewis, Ken Buchanan and after he retires Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones, then Joe Calzaghe.

Agree with the comment about Bugner, he doesn't get the respect he deserves, however he was never really dedicated to boxing - if he had been then who knows?

My favourite (not necessarily best) British fighters:-

Lennox Lewis (undisputed number 1 of British fighers, this cannot be argued)
    Ken Buchanan
Herol Graham (unluckiest man in boxing, in my opinion, and better than Benn, Watson, Calzaghe, Eubank and Collins)
    Lloyd Honeyghan
Randolph Turpin (win over SRR = he belongs on this list, regardless)
Kirkland Laing (same thing, win over Duran on foreign soil)

Also agree with the comments about Michael Watson, totally owned Benn, beat Eubank (in everyone but the judges eyes) and gave him a lesson in the 2nd match until he got careless and that was all she wrote. Definately more skilled than Benn, Eubank, Collins and Calzaghe but I feel Graham was better than all of them but for one reason or another never fulfilled his potential.

You'd have to have Hamed up there too, much as I hate the ****. Same goes for McGuigan.

Crying shame the lack of love for the great, great Ted "Kid" Lewis in this thread.

    1 - Jimmy WIlde
    2 - Ted "Kid" Lewis
    3 - Lennox Lewis.

These would be my top 3. Assuming Fitzimmons is excluded.
