Groves is without an opponent. McDermott has withdrawn from the Smith fight. Perfect world they fight each other but Warren and Smith don't fancy the job. DeGale and Gilks are fighting eachother, Dodson and McGuire are moving up in weight. Anderson and Quigley eliminator purse bids are due today. Wouldn't mind seeing Smith vs Anderson and have Groves fight Quigley.
I don't see what Anderson has done to be above Groves. Ideally, politics aside Groves would go straight in with Smith, but I can't see it happening. Warren and Haye aren't exactly best buddies and I'm sure that despite their talk they would be hesitant about chucking him in at the deep end. Really, it's a bit of a farce that Smith vs Magee wasn't made.....
It's surely going to have to be foreign opposition for both as there doesnt appear to be many options domestically!
smith will lose to groves, avoidence going on with warrens team, why not fight each other, i beleive groves isent the stumbling block here.
