Martinez now has more than 30% of the vote.

Mundine barely above 20% and falling.

Who are the 5 imbeciles who would prefer Geale fight the awful Gorilla Soliman rather than a boxer like Martinez.

    Actually, he is. :good
You on the other hand, have no idea as usual.
He hasn't done anything except read what the figures say you dumb twat.
It doesn't take any brain power at all.:lol::lol:

It probably takes you all your brain power to read the numbers, but normal people just glance at it, and say yes, Geale is a real champion who wants to fight real fighters! :happy:happy

It is clear Geale v Martinez is the fight people want to see. Let's hope Sergio beats Chavez and makes it possible for them to meet and fight for 3 titles.

I think Chavez vs Geale would be more exciting.....
I hope Chavez beats Martinez, Boxing needs some new young super stars who can carry the torch for some years to come, Martinez is no spring chicken...

Even if he did fight Mundine and won the excuses would flood this forum (and others) to breaking point.
Personally would like Martinez(and hope he wins vs Chavez). Just not sure what the sanctioning bodies will say. Be interesting to see after this weekend what nonsense they come out with- belts could be flying everywhere. Whilst all these alphabet titles have become a mish mash of mediocrity there was a time when at least there was possibility of having one fighter with all 3(WBA/IBF/WBC) which meant something. Now that there is all this super duper diamond with sprinkles rubbish maybe there is no such thing as "unified champion".
Sad to see Geale copping so much flak already from some quarters. So much genuine animosity.

Chavez is 5 years younger than Geale, He is outspoken and he is exciting, He ticks all the boxes IMO.
Geale has all the skills but sometimes I wonder if he has a pulse

I recall when KT won his first title, just about every boxing fan knew his name, yet Geale has won two titles now and is barely known. Im a Fan of Geales but the guy lacks personality, charisma and has one hell of a boring fight style to watch. Cant put bums in seats in his own country yet the deluded geale fanatics think he will make millions in the states

It's sad because he does deserve a lot of recognition for what he has achieved, but sadly I think you're right, He isn't going to win over a US audience with his style.

KT was never outspoken, never talked himself up, but he didn't need to coz he could put anyone to sleep at anytime with any shot and he put bums on seats due to his style

spot on m8, if ur not good at trash talking etc then you want to be dam good at keeping peoples attention and having one hell of an exciting style, KT was the closest thing to watching Mike Tyson fight imo. somewhat of a mini Mike Tyson , i can remember when he wasnt even a champion and was headlining shows in Melbourne against the likes of Pedro Sanchez, the joint was packed. He also had GOOD managment behind him in Billy Mordey.

Geales style is best suited for Germany, he wont pull much in USA and will most likely loose his belts on a UD.
