    I'd say Hopkins, to do it at age 44 against, against the middle weight champion of the world, and Pavlik is by no means walk over. That's pretty impressive. Second would be, with a big gulp, I'd say slapping Joe, Joe Calazghe. Still have my doubts about him, but until somebody proves otherwise he gets the job done.

    Manny beat Diaz and Delahoya, but Calzaghe beat Hopkins and Jones. Two hall of famers compared to one. Pacman did stop Delahoya. I think Calzaghe deserves it, and I think Manny gets it. That is if Ring Magazine still does this.

    He fought in 3 different weight classes this year and winning two titles... he also beat DLH in an upset.

    We should hold Fighters of the Year to a teeny little bit of a higher standard, no?

    My opinion? Pacquiao, Darchinyan and Margo a distant second and third respectively.

    Paul Williams also fought and won in 3 weight classes all by stoppage. He should at least get some consideration.
