Unfortunately from what I've heard Stieglitz turned down 2 offers from Bute. And Mundine isn't fighting Golovkin for the WBA ?
Hopkins makes the most sense if the fight can be made. It is a very winnable fight for Bute and he will make the most money and get more credit than beating someone like Steiglitz. But, ultimately, I'd like to see Bute take on the winner of the Super 6 tournament.
Dirrell would throughly outclass Bute as he did Froch and Abraham. He is good, but not nearly as talented or skilled as Dirrell.
Dirrel has never outclassed Froch and he was on his way to get ko'ed by Abraham before Arthur made a mistake.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Right, he never outclassed the brawler Froch but he will do this to Bute...:think
With the best being tied up at 168 i would like to see him in with hopkins...also wouldnt mind seeing him against chad dawson though i think at 175 bute will not have the same effect... Hopkins or pavlik...he could get a nice name in the meantime while he waits to fight some of the top guys in the super 6
I wouldn't mind seeing Winky pick up a late career win against Bootay. I'd rather watch Dawson put him to sleep, though.
Dawson really would kick his ass. But if he wants to move to 175, it's a bigger money fight to take on Pascal, who's also a draw in Montreal. They could probably put the fight in Olympic Stadium for that one. I think he should stick at 168 as long as he can make weight though. There are much better fights there overall, and Bute's arms are just too damn short to fight a lot of the elite light heavyweights.
