GGG controlled the fight, Canelo changed his style for the fight so GGG fought on the outside. His ramrod jab gave Canelo all the problems he needed, it will tell on Canelo , I think Jacobs is lucky as GGG has permanently softened Canelo ...you see...

I actually agree with this somewhat those hits Jacobs was taking from GGG really took alot out of Jacobs and Jacobs hasn't looked the same since then

Gennady won the 1st fight and definitely won the 2nd fight. In the 2nd fight he landed the more meaningful shots and hurt Canelo a few times.

Every poll I've seen it's about 70-75% GGG, 15-20% Canelo with 5-10% draw.
I think GGG won the first fight convincingly and 2nd fight wasn't quite a convincing but still showed he was the stronger, busier and superior boxer. Canelo got way too much credit for coming forward. What I saw was GGG purposely taking half steps back to keep Canelo right at the end of shots. It's one thing going backwards like Canelo did the first fight, trying to avoid fighting and taking breaks (taking sometimes 50% of the round off) and another thing to go backwards like GGG did while still outworking the younger opponent, fighting 100% of every round.
But if you just watch both fighters body language as that fight went on and went into deep waters, Canelo just looked negative, looked discouraged, almost looked like he was going to quit. But GGG looked positive, excited, focused. It's a shame. If GGG fought for Golden boy, that first fight would have been scored probably 118-110 and second fight no worse than 116-112 for GGG. But now Canelo gets all the laurels, big contract etc. And poor GGG has to continue fighting in the trenches. Even though he won the fight, he didn't win the decision and that's all that matters I guess
