No doubts about it, that should be crystal clear for anyone... Actually, even if Ricky hadn't kayoed Castillo, a win over Mayweather by itself would put him at the P4P top ratings ( which I don't agree with btw) and in the All Time Great British Boxing Achievements overseas.

A toss up between Cotto and Pavlik.

But more on Cotto because it's Judah and Mosley against Miranda and Taylor.

Miranda is nothing but an agressive and exciting upcoming fighter when Pavlik demolished him.

i think the win over a past it DLH is better than a win over an underachieving Judah, and a win over Hatton which is rated top 10p4p is better than an aged Mosley. I think Manfredo seriously hurts Cals chance, Pavlik has a great argument though

Don't forget about Pavlik's KO against Jose Luis Zertuche in January. I think it's gotta be Pavlik - he's got 3 KO victories. Yes, his opposition won't match that of other fighters, like Mayweather for example if he beats Hatton. But if you consider the action and drama involved in Pavlik's KO's and the fact that last December he was doing landscaping for $10.00 for extra money between fights, and now he's middleweight champ, I think this is his year. He accomplished more this year for his career. He's on the cover of Ring magazine next month, too.

your spinning it to look good for Cotto but Oscar had just came of an impressing win just like Mosley so i say the wins are the same....i dont see how you negate either or raise eithers win over one another.

Yes, he was. Sharper, better reflexes, and better stamina. Mosley was relatively active too.

I think is what he was trying to say is that Mosley was a better boxer, more active and in better condition fighting Cotto than the DLH that fought Mayweather, I dont think he's saying that the mosley that fought Cotto was the same Mosley that fought Oscar

Cotto struggled in both fights but won

PBF fought a promoter and Hatton

Pac man wasn't impressive vs MAB

Joe against MAnfredo was a bogus stoppage

Pavlik stopped two tomato cans, J/K

    I VOTE FOR KELLY PAVLIK!!!!

Before the Mayweather/Hatton fight its a toss up between Pavlik and Calzaghe,I'd go Pavlik as his second opponent was abit better, tho saying that Kessler looked better than Taylor looked leading up to their fights.Cotto hasn't just beaten any number ones in any division this year or ever in his career yet.

Also even though Hoya was over the hill Mayweather did come up to 154 to fight Hoya, which is by far not Mayweathers best weight class. This should come into consideration to

Hatton/PBF winner. You can say Hatton is handpicked all you like but fact is many people rag on PBF for not fighting the best at 140 despite picking up a belt...well hes doing it now. Granted not at 140 but its still Ricky Hatton. Hatton is also top 10 p4p and undisputed JWW champ, if a p4p fighter and undisputed champ is considered handpicked for PBF then thats just a testament to PBF's skill more than anything else. Outside of Cotto, Hatton is also the biggest fight for PBF out there and definetely bigger than Cotto before Cotto beat Mosley. Hatton beating Castillo/FMJ this year pretty much says it all.

    Cotto or winner of Hatton/Mayweather

Calzaghe definitely not. His Kessler win makes im a Top5 P4Per but not Fighter of the year.
