Alvarez @ 158 in a non-title bout would be the ice of the cake but Saunders, Jacobs and Eubank Jr are solid opponents too.:good

Saunders and Jacobs are pretty much the only good fights at 160.

I don't rate Eubank that highly to be honest. But it wouldn't be terrible for Golovkin to face him.

I don't know why people want the Canelo fight. It would be a mismatch. Really, I don't think he should bother facing any WW/SWW like Canelo, Cotto, or Lara. Having a good record in divisions below 160 doesn't mean you'll be good at 160. They're too small/accustomed to fighting smaller fighters. It's akin to Canelo fighting Khan. Complete mismatches.

That said, if fighting Canelo gets his PPV numbers much higher, then maybe he'll be able to get actually good fights more easily after. That's the only reason he should fight Canelo.

His best win is Martin Murray, he's such a monster.

Doesn't force the issue to fight Sturm
Takes step aside $$$ 3x in a row then refuses to fight Canelo @ 155
Lara call's, sorry i'm busy fighting Taureano Johnson (then he gets injured and GGG fights Wade instead)
Eubank jr calls, beep, beep, beep, beep.

He's 34yo and his best win is Martin Murray and he's such a monster lol.

Stop defending this guy, he deserves to be called Bumluvkin, thats all he likes to fights is bums.

BJS asked him for a decent pay day and he low balled BJS and now his apologist fans blame BJS? Get outta here.

GGG is and Team GGG need to take a great portion of the blame for these fights not happening.

CEJ is going to give GGG his biggest payday and probably the biggest payday he can get outside of Canelo and Team GGG are putting him on hold????

Saunders for me. I think he's a clever fighter at times.
That said, I think GGG beats all the names above

Saunders and Eubank are both 26 yo they haven't even reached the halfway point in their careers. They have just entered world level.

Jacobs win over Quillin is as good as anything GGG has done.

None of them have fans claiming everyone under the sun is scared and unwilling to fight him, and when the fights have been offered made every excuse not to fight?

    Canelo @ 155
    BJS for decent coin
    Lara
Eubank jr for GGG's biggest pay day to date
    Can add Ward @ 168
and now Gilberto @ 168 as well

He was Cotto's mando and he took step aside $$$ a few times as well

I find all the people who think CEJ "destroys" BJS in the rematch utterly perplexing, did you all see the first match? Even in the last 4 or 5 rounds when Chris was going all out, most of what he was throwing wasn't landing clean. CEJ goes for the kill early and gets KTFO by BJS being overly aggressive.

Alvarez, Saunders, Jacobs and Lee are all good opposition but I don't think any are on Golovkin's level. Lara is a very good fighter but he needs to step up to 160 first before shouting out fake offers in the media. Who the **** knows what's going on with Eubank's career? I think his technical flaws get horribly exposed vs Golovkin.
