Golovkin, Saunders, Canelo, Jacobs, Lemieux, Eubank Jr, Lee, Heiland, Murata and Khytrov. This middleweight division is pretty good IMO.

Canelo is game enough to give us a fight with GGG that we can truly enjoy. I know GGG will be heavily favoured but I see Canelo rising to the occasion and doing his absolute best and that's why this fight needs to happen. Boxing right now needs this fight to happen.

Yeah, but sadly the closest we will get is a 175lb 43-3 40 y/o GGG fighting the 30 y/o SMW Champion at a 165lb CW in 5 yrs.:patsch

For all the "cries" lately that GGG is ducking Lara, it seems that no one actually gives a s**t about that matchup.

    no, he's not.

you must not be aware that alvarez dropped the belt rather than fight golovkin. that's all over. done. golovkin-jacobs, bjs etc is what's next. just the way it is.

Dumping that belt says a lot about Canelo and Oscar. 155 lbs and 10-15% of revenue is just a slap and a spit on the face of GGG.

They use him because Lara has no intentions of fighting Golovkin. This guy calls people out on Twitter. I think Golovkin's promoter already said that they haven't sent ANYTHING over to them. Lara is all just talk.

Either way, I can't think of a more useless matchup for Golovkin.

Honestly, I'd give Golovkin props for fighting and beating Korobov. As for legit, top opponents, I'd say Derevyanchenko once he has more seasoning will be Golovkin's biggest threat.

Poll should have multiple options or should be better worded (i.e. who is the top option for GGG to fight atm...)

Lara is just bluffing to draw some attention. If he'd be serious, first he would have to challenge his stable mate Danny Jacobs to become GGG's mandatory for the WBA ttile:good.

Saunders, Canelo, Jacobs and Eubank Jr are the best top rated current middleweights.:good
