Who do you consider the best heavy weight without a belt?

    Hang in with me on this one.

    Povetkin was a longterm holder of the WBA belt. The problem is that he held this distinction after Wlad was “upgraded” to WBA Super Champion after beating Haye. This belt would pass from Wlad to Fury to Joshua (after it was vacated).

    He also won the WBC Diamond Heavyweight Title after beating Whyte. This belt only existed for this fight before vanishing despite its official sounding name.

    So no, Povetkin was never a real champion and therefore should be in this discussion.

    Lol this is why I just prefer lineal champs only. Alphabets never ever counted in my mind. Povetkin is certainly one of the best to ever strap em on
