Who do you dislike the most?

Bob Arum. Both guys have issues, but Arum seems to be vindictive and surly. Do you ever see King publically trashing people and telling fans to go **** themselves like Arum does?

King, no question. He's a scumbag who rips off fighters. Arum's not much better, but he's not quite as sleazy.

I've never paid that much attention to the promoters, I always got the impression that Don King is more notorious for ripping off fighters while Arum seems to have a penchant for ripping off fans. (I'm not saying that don king doesn't rip off fans and arum doesn't rip off fighters)

 

Arum is just as sleazy. Pretty much every promoter and manger out there is getting over on their fighters. Allegedly, Shelly Finkel was ripping off Tyson more than King. If you actually think that Arum's fighters are maximizing their earning potential with him, you're crazy. These guys pull the same trick that pretty much anyone in power does.

You ever apply for a job and you see a question that asks what your desired salery is? Now most people applying for jobs don't have the information and knowledge to know how much they should be getting paid for a particular job. Employers know this and they ask this question because they know potential employees will almost always ask for a figure that's below market value.

The same goes for boxers. These promoters and managers know damn well that most of these fighters are too ingorant to how much they should really be making. So they ask him how much they're looking to earn, or throw out seemingly appealing figures that are below market value. The fighter thinks he's getting a good deal but is really getting ripped off. Mayweather was throughly ripped off by Golden Boy in the Oscar fight and against Hatton as well. Arum and King have been in the game a long time. You best believe both of them are well schooled in the art of getting over.

 

DON KING is an altar boy compared to Arum.... Arum is the sum of all evil put together!
