Agreed, though i see Bigfoot taking it. He is a huge guy, pretty well rounded and has a sturdy chin.

Bigfoot or Barnett, leaning towards Barnett, but I'm hoping Bigfoot wins.

Overeem can't box for ****. Velasquez is going to beat his ass, and Velezquez wouldn't be **** but a below a journey man in boxing.

Overeem or Barnett...depends on whether Barnett could get him down.

I think Barnett is getting way to much credit here. Ya he looked better than Overeem, but he was facing Brett Rogers who did to really pose much of a challenge other than with his strength.

My pick is Kharitonov, with his boxing ability and chin to match

Sergei's done nothing to suggest Barnett can't get him down and submit him - I mean this guy lost to JEFF MONSON for **** sake. Barnett's certainly an unproven fighter in 2011 but he's on the weak side of the draw and should make it to the final.

I think Bigfoot wins it all. Overeem has a speed advantage, so he does have a chance to tag Bigfoot's big chin. If he can't land a crisp shot or knee early, look for Silva to bully him to the cage, and beat him to submission.

I think Silva can handle Barnett too.

Yes he lost to Jeff Monson, but if you use this as a basis to evaluate his entire career then you are in for a big surprise.

Kharitonov beat Werdum much more impressivley than Overeem did, outstriking Werdum for one and this fight Werdum used very similar tactics to the one yesterday. He is not easy to bring down, even though Werdum does not really have the best takedowns.

If you think Barnett will win is fine, but to dismiss Kharitonov's credentials with "Jeff Monson" is shortsighted

Very good post young man, I agree with Rek :good

But I think the point is valid, and you may have missed it. If Jeff Monson can exploit Sergeis weakness' on the ground, then Josh has more than a chance to duplicate it and get him to the matt

I dont think the Werdum fight will have any bearing on how Josh V Kharitanov will go tbh

Maybe...:|....the Aoki supporters and doubters can get along after all...

But Kharitonov did not look very on form against Monson, I do not think took Monson very seriously,

But then again, he only KOd Arlovski, he could have not yet regained his form, so I could be wrong, but the Kharitonov of some of his older fights is quite a challenge.

Sergie is no pushover sure, but he does have trouble with grapplers. And Josh is one of the best in the business. The only striker who had his number was Cro Cop and a prime Pedro. Kharitanov is no where near them guys level.

Sergei has a punchers chance. But I dont think he'll ko JOsh with one punch and would need to land a significant number to ko/decision Josh. He's quite slow and I cant see him stopping Josh from taking him down

I'm picking Barnett to beat Kharitonov.

    I'm taking Silva over Overeem.

Then I think that Silva decisions Barnett in the final.

    I'm still going with Overeem.

Although I'd like to see Bigfoot win the GP and go on to beat the UFC guys, that would be a sight.

Bigfoot is going to go on the win the GP. Then he will go on to lose to Cain, Dos Santos, or both.
