Who do you feel has a better defence, prime Vitali or Prime Wlad?

Honestly both are pretty ****ing good but im going with wlad. Better boxer

 

going with vitali, wlad has a tendency to get caught by left hooks ala sanders and peters.

He only gets hit more because he actually fights. If he wanted to, he could do the jab and grab like Wlad does, but Vitali does not need to resort to that due to his better skill and toughness.

Vitali actually slips punches. He also punches on the move. Vitali makes adjustments in the ring. Better stamina and workrate too. Really, Vitali is the better boxer. Wlad just looks more orthodox. So people confuse that with skill.

 

both bros have good defense, but Vit is still a bit easier to hit than Wlad

 

Vitali fights with both hands down and he does not need clinching. vitali has better reflexes and better upper body movement. he also does not panic attack, when he gets hit! Wlad was 4 times KD with steward, Vitali was never down, not even close.

So Vitali has the better defence!

 

Wladimir no doubt about it. Since Wlad trains with Emanuel Steward his defences is much better.

 

Vitali is more aggressive and takes more chances, thats why he looks worse defence wise. I'm sure if Vitali employed the same tactics as Wlad, then he too would be water tight. Saying that, as it stands, Wlad has the better defence.

vitali isnt strong enough to keep people off him with just the jab thats why he dosnt do it...clinching is a style of defence aswell so to say vitali dosnt need to clinch dosnt mean anything..his reach allows him to lean back which is why he dosnt clinch alot...
