Who do you find overrated on the world level?

    Those who participate in boxing know full well that it is one of the most difficult sports out there if not thee most difficult.
    A lot of people throw the term 'overrated' around. Every boxer has probably been called it at least once. But my question is who do you find ridiculously overrated?
    Personally, i find Chad Dawson overrated. Yes he has held world titles and that is by no means easy to do but i dont find anything in his arsenal that impresses me. Someone of his size should have a higher ko %, I dont find him incredibly quick, he isnt technically sound yet i constantly hear how good he is.
    I am by no means hating on the guy because i dont know him, but can you please tell me (if you rate him) why you think he is so good. And who you find 'overrated'.

    Look at Matthysse he's a slugger who got outboxed and his fans cry robbery and claim he is undefeated, there is a reason, he won't fight Maidana at 147 even though it's a huge pay day.

    I can understand the argument for him being overrated but he is such a great finisher that its hard not to admire how he fights. Correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure he fought maidana 4 times as amateur and beat him 3 times and drew one.

    but IMO it would be a different story at this point in time.

    Yeah he is a great watch, so are Rios and Alvarado but I'm saying Khan would pick them apart. Maidana and Matthysse fought four times, Maidana beat Lucas 3 times, HBO wanted them to fight in Argentina, Lucas would have got biggest payday of his career.

    Ahh ok. Yeah i have to agree, i think matthysse is a more all rounded fighter and is much better at cutting off the ring.

    Khan on paper would beat all these guys cos speed kills, but with their power it only takes one decent landing punch to ko him and i dont think khans defense could carry him the whole fight.

    Zab boxed Matthysse close and got destroyed by Khan, either Khan beats Matthysse 10-2 or loses from knockout of the year no in between to me.

    if you knew anything about the sport then you'd know the triangle theory isnt legit
    Holt survived the distance with Garcia but couldnt against Peterson, Khan survived the distance with Peterson but couldnt with Garcia that **** always works both ways
    anyone who thinks Matthysse hasnt improved go watch the Zab fight then the Alexander fight then the Olusegun fight then come back and write what he did differently
    most of you probably only watched the highlights anyway

    He beats anyone at 175 but Ward if he moved up, is he listed as a p4p guy? I don't see any hype

    Maybe because you define hype as someone who is p4p. I dont.
    I believe he is hyped because people claim he can beat certain people in hypothetical matches... i just dont see it myself
