Both are similiar in that they are near perfect boxers with incredibly tight defenses and the ability to beat any fighter at their weight.

Toney could of been one of the best of all-time, but he let his weight go (too much burger king ie reference the youtube clip..haha) and I guess was a bit of a head case at times. Ultimately, his fitness was the problem.

Floyd is one of if not the hardest working fighter in the gym. He weighs the same year round and lives and breathes boxing. So Floyd gets the nod here, but Toney is still an ATG.

You have a bad rep on esb to be honest and compubox is a joke so Calzaghe landing the most on Hopkins can be considered a myth. When did I say Peter was good? Earlier you said Toney got his "ass kicked by Peter twice" which is false, it was a close fight in the first fight.

Exactly what I wanted to hear. If you go by "facts" so much you should consider that being a boxing fan, you can't just watch a fight once (unless it's a crap fight) especially when scoring. If you score a fight you should rewatch it several times just to go back and see if you still agree with your scoring.

I've scored Nunn/Toney a few times, and I always have Nunn slightly ahead.

That fight is a real pleasure to watch, I think it's a little under-appreciated.

Great fight and shows Toney's heart to come from behind and win against a prime opponent.

my reputation on esb is immaculate - fact :yep

calzaghe landing more punches on hopkins than anyone else is fact :deal

sam peter is a joke and he kicked toneys ass twice, just like midget griffin - fact :deal

i only need to score fights once and the 3 judges had it spot on just like me. if you need to score a fight 3 or 4 times then it says you get carried away by emotion in fights and do not watch them with ice cold precision like i do.

You're a human, you make mistakes plus we change our opinions from time to time so you SHOULD rewatch fights time from time to time. You stating Nunn "outboxed Toney for 10 rounds" sounds ridiculous and somewhat laughable you need to rewatch that fight. Again, Peter didn't kick Toney's ass in the first fight REWATCH THAT and Griffin appeared to outwork Toney but both fights were close and even Foreman & Harold had it for Toney in the rematch so scoring one or both of those for Toney is not out of the question REWATCH THEM. And compubox is a joke so don't pay too much detail to that. Anyways good day to you.

Toney have done more in my view but he's lower in ATG ranking, and May still have time ahead to be much bigger than he already is.

If Barkley, Mccalum, and Holyfield weren't past their primes, there's no doubt Toney would rank higher than Floyd. Barkley was fresh off a win over an aging Hearns when he fought Toney.

** the "win" over Ruiz doesn't even count officially

weather you agree or not, I'd have to think two positive steroid busts takes quite a chunk away from Toney's legacy

I'll be fair, if he beats Pacquiao then I'll have Floyd over Toney. Hell if he even fights him I'll have Floyd over Toney but I just feel Toney's did more and from cruiser to below is just better for the sport than Floyd that's how I feel. Resume-wise Toney is better too in my opinion.
