Haye is a cruiserweight. The fact that the Haye fight is possibly Wlad's biggest win speaks in Ward's favor.

I'd take the Froch, Biko, and Kessler wins P4P over the Haye fight any day of the week. Especially when you consider that Froch, Biko, and Kessler are the same size or bigger than Ward.

How has Wlad "completely" dominated the division when he has NEVER beaten the reigning champion or the #2 guy?

And please tell me exactly which "more talented" foes has Wlad beaten?

    Haye is a CRUISERWEIGHT.

If Wlad's claim to fame is beating up on a CRUISERWEIGHT [and looking like **** in the process] then I'm *NOT* impressed.

Ward fights and beats up on guys who are his own size or bigger.

Wlad, OTOH, likes to beat up on CRUISERWEIGHTS [Byrd, Mormeck, Chambers, Haye]...

When Haye fought Wlad he was over the weight limit for CW.

Haye is more talented than Kessler and Froch, who are sound and tough fighters but nothing more.

Obviously he cant beat the reigning champion, because he is the reigning champion.

If you want to look down on Wlad for not fighting his bro go ahead.

Byrd and Haye have more talent than Kessler and Froch.

Haye is a cruiserweight and Byrd is a lt HW. Kessler and Froch are both real SMWs.

    Ward > Wlad

For me it's not even close - Ward. He's much more versatile, can fight inside or out, and looks much more comfortable against any style he faces.

Wlad has mastered a style that's very effective for him but how far would his jab-and-grab strategy take him if he was 168lbs fighting in a division packed with talent. He has huge physical advantages over all his opponents, who make up the worst Heavyweight division in many years.

Out-jabbing much smaller, inferior opponents while refusing to take chances doesn't impress me anywhere near as much as what Ward has been doing - dominating much better opponents (his own size) while displaying a multi-faceted offence.

Haye and Byrd was both about ten pounds over the weight limit for HW when they fought Wlad.

    Perhaps in the future.

    Lol.

Being a whopping *10* pounds over the CW limit does NOT make Byrd and Haye heavyweights. They are NOT.

Hanging your hat on the Haye and Byrd fights only shows how utterly pathetic Wlad is.

    Ward > Wlad

According to your own reasoning beeing ten pounds over the upper weight limit for cruiserweight makes them ... cruiserwieghts. It's not a flawless logic.

Pound for pound better than Froch the slow and Kessler the stiff.

If he ever fights anyone with the athletic talent of Haye or Byrd I will consider it. Bute is as close as he can come at his current weight division. SMW is what it is.

    Lol.

Didn't Byrd get blasted out in 6 by Ike Ibeabuchi BEFORE the first Wlad fight?

OTOH, Froch owns a win over former 175lb champ Jean Pascal.

    Ward > Wlad

You can't beat this logic. Well said. There is really no rebuttal Klit fans can have for this.

Resumes can be twisted either way you want. Byrd is better than Froch in terms of speed, reflexes and skill. Kessler have better fundamentals than Haye but is inferior in every other aspect. Ward needs better wins, it is not his fault he is at SMW.
