Why didn't Jones ever fight Benn?, well here's proof right here for you regarding that fight. Also, if you think "Benn" would have been a legit threat then you must be smoking something out of this world and that man's only claim to fame is fights in England and the bull**** typical endless cheating and rabbit punch free affair against McClellan. Jones would have crushed that guy to tiny pieces SO EASY that a million excuses would be all over it after it's done, Benn is not in Jones' league. Regarding Toney, he has done nothing but talk trash and invent a million excuses for being completely outclassed in his prime against Jones. He was outclassed SO bad that he made up a bull**** excuse about being sick, weight drained and a load of other rubbish. Not to forget that Toney also fought and lost to Griffin after it. Also I don't remember a SINGLE serious offer from Toney's team that Jones declined or turned down apart from talking absolute rubbish and junk behind the microphone, if anything it's the loser who should run after the winner if he wants to avenge a loss, talking trash behind the microphone attracts nothing as Toney constantly proves. Well, the USA is pretty ginormous, so if he's fighting outside his home state (and most top fighters always do) then it's not exactly home advantage, is it? Which akes the whole fighting outside the US thing pretty irrelevant. He wasn't even on the beneficial end of a close verdict until the first Tarver fight.

 

Scar is very blatantly right on this one. I don't see RJJ as a Superman but Benn isn't in his league.

I don't really need to "pimp up" Jones' career or abilities they're fully pimped out without the need of help, even if I did I would find someone better than Benn to do it.

 

Where did I say in my post he never fought outside of England? :huh, don't get me wrong now Benn is a very good fighter but to compare him to RJJ or even HINT that RJJ never wanted to fight him is complete RUBBISH and in that very interview you get the answers regarding it. If the author of that post is a serious fan of Benn he would at least know about this without the need of video evidence.
