Who do you hope wins, Roy Jones or Joe Calzaghe?

None of those are the reasons that I'm fed up with Joe. Please refer to my previous posts if you want to know why i'm pissed off at Joe. It has nothing to do with Pavlik. You talk about Jones and Joe like they're two guys on the end of there career that just want to cash out one last time. What you don't mention is that one of these guys is the number two p4p fighter in the world and the other isn't even top 20 in his wieght class (top 15 at best). This fight should be happening and I'm going to be madder then hell when Joe and all his fans act like he's accomplished something after he's done embarrassing him.

This fight shouldn't be happening. Who cares about Pavlik. Why in the hell would you have been pulling for this fight?

 

Yeah and RRJ was getting knocked silly by Tarver and Johnson four years ago....ooops dude kinda forgot to mention that.

 

I just want to see a fair fight, no crooked judges, ref, etc.

 

I hope Jones wins but my money is on JC.

I'm looking at this in terms of inevitable indirect backlash consequences.

Shitty reasoning that can/will be a side product of a Joe win: this version of RJJ is totally shot and/or sucks, so therefore Prince Badi, Hanshaw, and the blown-up rusty old version Tito (no ****) must all really suck.

Shitty reasoning that can/will be a side product of a Roy win: this version of Calzaghe is totally shot and/or sucks, so therefore Bika, Kessler, and the old version of Bernard must all really suck.

I'm not endorsing this reasoning, just stating that it is an inevitability.

I like Hanshaw. I like Kessler. I don't want to see either cast as "the guy that got beat by the old shitty version of ____ that an old shitty version of ____ beat".

Of the two? I like Kessler much more, and think he can do a lot more, and is less deserving of being downplayed by such type of shitty indirect rationale.

Also, Kessler didn't **** on his own credibility by getting thrashed by an Andre Dirrell - Hanshaw's damaged goods after that, and I've more or less forsaken him as a world class element. :yep

 

I hope RJ beats the **** out Calzaghe, and bring him and his fans back down to earth

I want Jones to beat the **** outta Calzaghe. Calzaghe is obviously trying to cherry pick Jones cause Jones is not what he used to be.

I see right through what Calzaghe is trying to do, as do most people, fight the Hopkins and Jones, two ATG great no doubt now, when obviously their peak year are behind them and try to use that as a case for his greatness. Its all BULL****!

Calzaghe is the epitome of what is wrong with boxing, fight a bunch a bums, and then when a true fighter like Pavlik calls him out he runs to easiest fight available!
