I searched the forum for Hamed threads, I might post some YouTube footage of a a very young Hamed in the amateurs. I didn't want to post it if it has already been done. This thread caught my eye.
Roy Jones Jr when I am cocking about. But if I was actually doing anything a switch hitting Tommy Hearns
good man. i'm an aussie so impartial i guess. i was a good amateur and was in line to spar with jimmy thunder at one point. i'm sure a few remember him. top australian heavy but **** for brains. anyway, it never happened and i went travelling instead of giving the pros a shot. cut a long story short....if that sparring session had happened it might have changed my 'career path'. i'll never know how that jump might have gone now.
what age are you? you should give the pro game a try if you still have the fitness and fire, **** look at zelenoff etc. you could lay to rest a few demons :think
Erik Morales at SBW. I may not look like much, but when I punch its like getting hit with a kick from a donkey; so that unattractive and overweight girl tells me down the gym when I'm working out on the heavbag.
Camacho and Donald Curry. I was very fast and would drop my hands after I hit my opponent. The opponent being frustrated and thinking wow he dropped his hands. As he throws his right, my eyes never left him and I would catch him with my right. Camacho use to do this alot. I use to get yelled at alot for showboating, but the Curry moves were more attractive to my coaches. I once switched over to a lefty stance and doing well against a very experienced CW and I was a WW. My coach yelled at me "you have to first learn how to fight as a righty" and stupid me lost focus for a split second and got dropped. Actually he was my co-trainer. He was related to I believe Esteban DeJesus. Funny guy.
