Dear MrBoogie23 kind regards I certainly prefer Vitali Klitschko over Wladimir Klitschko. It is a shame that Vitali's knees are weak, if he would have stayed champion I would have rooted for him. Vitali was very good in every respect of the word. He was awkward to hit, could take a punch when it landed, had a very wooden jab. Not only was the jab accurate, but it was very hard. He was very accurate in jabbing and combination punching, tremendous boxer. I watched his match up against Danny Williams and Vitali boxed superbly on that night. yours thankfully John
If that were the case, then surely he wouldn't have got up frrom all of those knockdowns? He has never quit like Vitali did vs Byrd, that's for sure.
It is the case. When Vitali is hit hard, he responds by wanting to fight. Wlad responds by hugging and running. Vitali is better. Wlad is crap.
Wlad is more talented, but Vitali is tougher and meaner. I prefer Vitali, but if Wlad gets tougher and mentally and develops more of a mean streak he will be dominant for a long time. Then I will prefer Wlad.
If it were old style Wlad vs Vitali I would say they were equal in terms of excitement, but since Manny Steward 'borified' Wlad into the good ol Jawny Ruiz jab and clinch style of boxing Vitali is miles above in terms of excitement. How many times did he clinch with Peter in last nights fight?
I've always thought Wlad's the more polished and technical out of the two. Overall Vitali's the better fighter in general. I know that sounds silly as i stated Wlad's the more skilled, i just think Vitali's a pure fighter at heart. He's tough and mean like the above poster mentioned, a real menacing character, as he showed in the Peter press conference. Both have completly different styles and attributes, Vitali's excellent at keeping the fight as distance, Peter was never given a chance. People who are very good at things make it look so easy, that's why they're so good, it's just comes so natural to them.
