I wasn't comparing a prime Joe fighting Manfredo at all. I was touching on the fact that most hall of fame fighters take on light touches towards the end of their career for one reason or another....Some do it as a farewell kind of fight, some do it for the money....some just want an easy win and extend their careers just a bit longer. JC was the one who beat an undefeated prime Kessler, who then went on to best Froch.

Froch lost to the lesser version and JC beat Kessler when he was a beast.....Froch then went life and death in hus winning effort over a shot version of Kessler.

Taylor beat Lacy, but Taylor had been finished by Pavlik more impressively and had been in numerous wars at 160 and was coming off the brutal fight with Froch.

My point still stands that AA was coming off 2 losses and is currently 16-6 (6) at 168 losing everytime he's faced a top 5 opponent.
