He didnt select him. He was astand-in for the tournament. Surely you know this, so why you embarrasing yourself by pretending it wasnt so? You have made yourself look the "silly kid" in the very post you called someone else it.

Its your own doing, sorry you had to fail again despite me giving you a get out clause.

I didn't fail. That's a valid point with a strong foundation based on your comment. Regardless of your internet issues. I'm talking about resumes and who is or who is not on it. You started getting granular about the age of opponents and I simply provided facts. Then you had some connectivity issues and got even more into the weeds with "choosing" who to fight

I'm worried about you kid. You're telling on yourself with your posts. You know I'm not "failing" kid, nor am I embarrassed....at least not embarrassed for me. It's you I'm worried about.

You are the one digging a deeper hole and expanding on the original topic to somehow prove your argument holds weight. I wasn't talking about stand-ins or the age of opponents.... I was talking about who had a stronger resume based depth and substance. Which encompasses the people on the resume, their status as it relates to their own respective careers and overall accomplishments...titles, multiple divisions ect

I think Joe would definitely have won, but not as clear as what you think.

Carl would have gotten under his skin, and they would have had to have been pulled apart at the weigh-ins and pressers. You get 2 egos like that, and there would have been fireworks. A lot of emotion involved. The chances are, they'd have had a macho tear up in the centre of the ring after goading each other. I don't think either one of them could have kept their composure. Joe didn't clown Reid, so it's an exaggeration to suggest he'd have clowned Carl and embarrassed him.

    Based on what?

Who did he "Lacy" who was on Ward's level?

Why didn't he "Lacy" Reid, Bika, Kessler and Hopkins?

Another fantasy post based on nothing.

    froch opted for better opposition.

if you opt for better opponents, then your resume is better. If you opt for 40somethings, then your resume is less good.

I dunno, i get that. you?

if not tell me when you will, instead of harking on about the "kid" melodrama to someone older than you, cos you'd be a fool to believe it makes you look stronger. I can see why you need to say it, but its not the help you believe it is.

Great post, apart from that it was his fault.

He starved himself to remain at SMW to fight B and C class guys, when he could have targeted better fights at LHW. He loved his WBO belt, and he was more than happy with who Frank put in front of him.
