Floyd simply does not have that sort of competition around him you cant penalize him for that.

If your being fair Floyd's resume is very solid and he has accomplished an awful lot from 130 -154.

He most certainly is in the ball park of Hearns and again I would not be shocked if someone ranked either higher than the other

Tommy fought all comers so yes he had losses. Mayweather cherry picked & also had the Commission , the drug testing agency & Vegas boxing backing him They saved him from at least 2 losses even then. Yet STILL he had to cheat too :patsch Tommy by a mile

I never saw the Jheri curl juice fly off Floyd's head and into the audience. Tommy lost when it counted.

Did you see Tommy get caught receiving 750 ml of saline drip ILLEGALLY in his own home. Mayweather did everyone knows why he was getting it too, Tommy didn't have to cheat to win. Nor did he have the state commission & drug testing agency
watching his back. Or Vegas boxing officials making sure he gor decision wins even when he didn't deserve them
    Boils down too......

Tommy was a REAL ATG Mayweather was jus t a CHEATING COWARD!!!! Poll results say it all

So basically losing by ko is better than winning and staying undefeated?

If it's Marvin Hagler than yea. Hearns gave arguably the GOAT MW all he could handle.

I rate FLoyd inside the top 20 of all time. I have Hearns inside the top 30 of all time.

Rankings are entirely subjective, so one can make a strong case for either man being ranked higher than the other. Hearns clearly fought the better competition, but FLoyd went undefeated against excellent competition in his own right and was only in a few tough fights his entire career. Mayweather is also widely considered the best of his era, and was the P4P # 1 guy for about 10 years so that has to account for something. He might not have possessed the entertaining KO style that the hitman had, but his style was more than effective to keep him at the top for a much longer period of time.

He also was a more successful fighter in the latter stage of his career, and longevity has to play a part in the rankings. He's one of the greatest "older" fighters ever.

ANyway, both are great fighters and the very definitions of ATG champions.

Fmj is a far greater atg, it's not even comparable for any sane person. The only thing hearns possibly has over fmj is in h2h with each other only.. that's not a great feature for a fighter that started his career as a much larger fughter than the other ended his after two full decades of moving up.

Anyone outside hearns himself that rates them remotely close in atg is a flat out hater with zero substance to back up such an idiotic "fan"
