And when he finally does, he miraculously forgets it the next time he's in an argument about the same topic.
That's not the end of each resume though. Sharkey also has Loughran, Stribling, Delaney, Maloney, Risko and Renault wins. Each of them was the top of division. Floyd of course also has Moore, Bonavena, Chuvalo and Cooper. Who has deeper resume? It's very close to me.
I agree it is close, I think it comes down to Sharkey's being deeper, but Floyd having the better bigger wins. Personally I like Ingo to beat Sharkey himself, let alone his best wins, so Patterson definitely gets my vote there.
I don't see Ingo beating prime Sharkey to be honest and I'm actually quite high on him. Sharkey didn't struggle against right hands and he did quite well against Schmeling (even if he should have lost second fight) who was better puncher. I don't know, it's not impossible but I don't believe in Ingo here.
Fair enough, I think Ingo's lead-hand baiting would really mess with Sharkey, who never struck me as all too confident. And he moves back in lines, Ingo's follow-through was often varied and always vicious. I think Sharkey falls for a trap, gets tagged and finished whilst backing up. He's too upright imo.
