Who do you rank higher in all-time terms: Riddick Bowe or Vitali Klitschko?

Vitali's better legacy-wise & head to head. Bowe was very inconsistent even in his prime. Vitali is the exact opposite.

 

H2h vitali would ****ed him up better than golota. Also bowe's biggest fights were with holy and golota and he was finished before 30, so also vitali's better career overall.

Vitali head to head is a beast and would beat many past champions, he's a stylistic nightmare for most fighters. Massively tall, high workrate, iron chin, awkward style and enough power to discourage most from just walking in.

In terms of resume he may lack a win as big as Holyfield but he has been much more dominant and had a much longer reign as a champion. Bowe's resume apart from Holyfield is no better than Vitali's.

I also think Vitali would beat Bowe, who would have none of the usual physical advantages going in to the fight. It would be a tough fight no doubt as on the inside Bowe would do some real damage but he would take too much coming in to get inside.

Just compare how they both did against Hide. Bowe while not at his best but still in his prime years struggled, while Vitali destroyed Hide without even having to go into second gear.

 

Though Bowe is the more gifted boxer of the two, Vitali would easily rank ahead of him.

 

Vlad is the more dominant champ over the long-term, but Bowe scored the bigger wins by beating Holyfield. Overall, I'd have to say that Bowe proved himself to be a better fighter, and in some ways, and more important champ. Nothing against Vlad, though, who's excellent.
