I'm only posting this because I got a couple of mayweather fans who don't believe Pac should be ranked higher mostly bec ause of Floyd's undefeated record and than they try discredit pac 7th championship by saying the WBO title is not a major title. What's your take on this?

Pacquaio is number 1 on my list, cannot possibly not be, his record outshines mayweather.

I do think floyd a better fighter though and favour him if and when they meet

Pac isnt afraid of fighting guys at their own weight, Floyd has cherry picked guys on his own terms for years now. I would be amazed if Floyd wasnt knockout by Pac!

    Right now or all time?
Right now Pacquaio. I tend that curent P4P rankings are based on talent and abality but there is the "What have you done for me lately" factor. Had Pacquaio beaten Cotto in September and Mayweather last week I would be voting for Mayweather.
All time I beleve that Mayweather is the better boxer.

    And?

Mayweather was, is and probably will always be a better boxer than Pacquiao will ever be.

You can't really say that until Mayweather beats pac and their isn't no guarentee that's gonna happen.

Pacquiao is by no means the better boxer on a technical level, or even close. But he's the greatest p4p. He's the greater fighter. He took the risks and got the bigger achievements. Not to shrug off what Floyd's accomplishments but it's been a while since serious boxing fans have seen him take a fight and thought, gees, Floyd took a big challenge there.

While I think Mayweather will beat Pacquaio. You are corect intell it happens I can't say for sure. By the way I did not make a prediction although I am planing on starting a thread soon on how I think Mayweather/Pacquaio is going to play out. (Shameless self promotion).

I should have been more clear. I fell that Mayweather has the better combonation of skills/talent and acomplishments than Pacquaio dose.

Fair enough. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, I think Pac will give Mayweather his first loss though IMO. But what has been done lately is what matters the most.

It has to be proven inside the ring. Most of Pac's previous opponents were said to be better than him yet Pac had beaten them one after another! The thing I'm pretty certain about is that Pussymay is the better runner!

PAC: Better quality opponents and burning desire to fight the best there is spanning weight boundaries - and DOMINATING them!
