If anyone is overrated it's Donaire?

How can Cotto be overrated with the skills and ability he showed against Mosley, the first six rounds of Margarito, the brutal power he showed at 10 stone??? Sure he has been rocked a few times but I'm sure Donaire would be had he mixed in the class Cotto has.

The Vic win was a fantastic win. Vic has shown improvements since then and has gone on to beat a higher calibre foe than Donaire (Mijares) If Donaire could beat Vic now, it would be an even better win IMO.

But beating the likes of Munoz, Montiel and Mijares himself would give him a resume somewhere approaching Cotto's. Until then, Donaire is the one overrated on ESB, and Cotto a fighter who will never get his dues from some here on these forums.

Your right. Donaire is like that show; one hit wonder. If of course he beats the guys you mentioned or beats Vic again. I believe if Cotto would have beaten Margarito, he would still be called overated.

Of course. Margo is a one dimensional banger. But, with his win over Cotto, Marg is an 'Elite' and Mosley destroying him seems more potent.

I'm not denying it was an amazing win for Shane, just saying that without Cotto, Margo didn't really have anyone of substance. If the first half of the Cotto fight had continued into the second, it would only have shown the amazing distance between Cotto and Margo's league.

Now, Cotto is seen as 'overrated'.

Unbelievable. I want him to destroy Jennings very quickly without barely taking a punch so a fight with another top WW can be arranged ASAP. I want to see Cotto prove himself to the doubters. He'd destroy Berto, and then Berto would just be 'overrated'. He could beat Shane in a rematch and it'll be 'Shane gave his last great performance against Toni. Cotto beat a 'shot' Shane'. He could beat Clottey and it'd be 'Clottey's inactivity meant he was never an 'Elite' WW anyway'.

Hell, he could knock Williams out and it'd be 'Williams was weight drained' or 'Well, Quintana has beaten Williams anyway so that shows he isn't a great fighter'.

By the way, Williams would seriously destroy Cotto.

Well, I believe Cotto will destroy Jennings and I feel that he should go after Clottey next. Fighting and beating Berto at this point in time does nothing, but add another belt. I have to disagree with Williams destroying Cotto due to the weight jumping up and down. I believe it would be much more closer than some posters believe. Right now, Williams has his hands full with Winky. We shall see if it happens. Hey, maybe it could happen at 154 in the future.
