Who do you rate as the best middleweight right now?

    Who is the best at 160 at the present time?

    De La Hoya says it's Peter Quillen, some say GGG, others say Sergio Martinez.

    4) Geale/Barker/Murray
    5) Quillin

    Why do you even have faded Sturm and one-dimensional Chavez on the poll? You may as well throw in Andy Lee, Matt Korobov, Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam, Matthew Macklin, Sergio Mora, Caleb Truax, Dmitry Chudinov etc. because they're all on roughly the same level as Sturm and Chavez. (floating around interchangeably somewhere outside the top 5-8 but in the top 20)

    Obviously one man with the most tools and great amatuer background - GGG. However, saying he beats everybody head to head is a bit premature IMO when he has never really taken punches from a much bigger fighter like Chavez or even a brawl with Murray, when we haven't seen him deal with movement in guys like Martinez, as much as I dislike the guy Quillen does have power of his own and skill.

    I'm going to favor GGG over all of them because his power, his experience, seems like he can take a good punch and come forward, etc BUT until we see him in there with guys like that it's hard to tell.

    Martinez is still the top middleweight until he's dethroned or retired.

    Not sure who is the best, probably Golovkin, but like watching Geale who is underated for wins over Sturm and Sylvester away

    anyone want to elaborate on Sergio being the the best? Alot of people think he lost to Murray. He clearly looks past his best. I think Golovkin finishes him by now.
