Who do you rate higher as an ATG: Tyson, Lewis or Holyfield?

I like Jeffries. I like that he went unbeaten. I like his heavy wins over ageing greats. But don't be surprised if he slides further. I had him at #7 when I joined ESB, he's been on the slide every since.

Johnson is holding. But I don't feel his resume is that weak - I think his title reign is, no quesiton there. I am also more impressed with him as a fighter than you.

I see Foreman the same way as you do. But he does have points for that comeback, that there was madness. Interestingly, if Holyfield had got the nod over mad Valuev, I would have switched them...

Yeah, you're that type of dude alright.

Holyfield's win over Tyson was probably the best win on any of their (Mike, Lewis, Holy) resumes.

i would tend to agree with you...though i think that the holyfield edging out the great dwight muhammad qawi over 15 brutal, busy rounds in only his 12th pro fight is a pretty remarkable achievement and sort of set the tone for the rest of holy's remarkable career.

Holyfield, Lewis, then Tyson. Holyfield fought better guys when they were at their prime. (Moorer, Bowe(3), Douglas, Tyson after he showed dominance). Not to mention his cruiserweight accomplishments. Should still have a belt since the Valuev robbery. Lewis fought most of his legends past their prime(Tyson, Holyfield). Holyfield has more accomplishments by a clear margin and even their 2nd fight was a close one which says even more for Holyfield. Tyson did clean out the division in his prime at least.

This is tough. Holyfield had the greater fights but Lewis did dominate. In the heavyweights it is tough to rate them since Lewis outweighed everyone by so much. I think Evander is the better fighter p4p, but Lewis was just a heavy guy at heavy and had a good right hand, so if he hit guys with that punch they were knocked out usually.
