I think in their prime Lewis comes up short.
Tyson and Hollyfield in their prime just had to much heart. I choose Hollyfield because he isn't a natural heavy weight. BUT Tyson beats all 3 in his prime.
Which was right before Douglas. Once his trainer died it was over for him.
Should have retired and made money being a living legend.

Mike Tyson is one of the great stories of boxing, but if you look at his overall career, it isn't all that impressive.

Sure, he was a more dominant champion than either of the other names within this poll, but against what, exactly?

A lot of people will trot out the same lines..... Don King this, booze & drugs that - to me, it is just a flaw in his makeup. If you cannot dedicate yourself to your occupation, and are stupid enough to employ a convicted murderer and notorious swinder to manage your affairs it only proves this further.

Every fighter that had the balls to stand up to him emerged victorious. Lewis gets too much credit in the UK and too little in the US for the Tyson win.... but let's remember that Lewis was nearly 37 himself (older than Tyson) and past his best - Holyfield was 34 and in a similar position to Lennox.

Both Lewis and Holyfield had the longevity and big wins.

I rate Lewis higher, H2H and in the ATG heavyweight rankings. Lewis top 3, Holyfield top 10, Tyson between 11-20.

    03 - Sonny Liston
    04 - Lennox Lewis
    05 - Joe Frazier
    06 - Jack Johnson
    07 - Mike Tyson
    08 - Larry Holmes
    09 - Rocky Marciano
    10 - Harry Wills
    11 - Jim Jeffries
    12 - George Foreman
    13 - Evander Holyfield

Marciano wasn't a heavyweight, You never seen any footage of Harry Wills,, Jim Jefferies best wins came against men who were alot smaller than him, George Foreman knocked out Frazier 2 times, Sonny Liston's best wins came over Floyd Patterson who was a natural middleweight/ super middleweight, Lennox Lewis best wins came against a washed up Mike Tyson and a washed up Holyfield, Jack Johnson best wins came against a washed up Jim Jefferies and guys smaller than him,

Yet you have then all above Foreman and Holyfield? Shouldn't this Forum have a room for kids or people who just don't know boxing? In any case a prime Holyfield would be Lewis, Holyfield did beat Tyson so Holyfield should be ranked higher plain and simple
