That's a silly argument! The MAB that Jones fought was not as good(complete) as the one Morales fought(thanks in part the first Jones fight)!
Junior Jones was a world caliber fighter, Norwood was a bum with an awkward style who took Marquez to school at his optimum weight. Boxing isn't quite that black and white is it FINITO?
I don't know. Ask Marco, he is the one who knows the answer to that. The real question is, why would that have any barring on how great of a fighter Barrera was? His legacy was already secure. He was a multi-weight world champion, and had seen off P4P rated opposition in their prime on more than one occasions. What point are you making here Asero? I have no argument for anybody who rates Morales above Barrera, even though I disagree. I have a serious issue with you trying to make a claim that Marco was not a great fighter..that's the most ******ed thing I may have heard in quite some time.
I have seen the fight, and i felt Marquez deserved the nod. I am just doing what your doing with Marco Antonio Barrera. The second Jones fight was a close fight, and some observers felt Marco deserved the nod. Instead of making note of that, you just feel the need to discredit Marco in every way imaginable.
barrera is a great fighter but pacquiao have already laid a BLUEPRINT on how to beat him...can you say that to other ATG fighters?
You seem to think that because Manny Pacquiao came a long and beat Marco soundly that any ATG of the past and present could simply replicate that same style. You should be smart enough to know that styles make fights, and a fighter like Morales cannot all of a sudden throw the same combination's Manny can, and vice versa. Marco was beaten by Pacquiao, but he rebounded from that defeat like truely great fighters do. Nearly every ATG has experienced losses.
