You only consider him 'great' because he is (tragically) deceased.

Chico was an entertaining, exciting, brave and all-round good boxer, but he was never 'great'.

Casamayor ranks above all three guys. His only clear loss was to Marquez, and Casa had been fading since the Cruz fight. Casa has the better resume of the other 3, and he had the better all around skills of the three.

So what?So did Robinson,Duran,Ali,Vazquez and others.

It's people like you that don't give him no credit for his wins.

Casamayor probably. I give a lot of credit to Olympic Gold, most boxers pick Olympic glory as their most important achevement. From Cuba he went to the US, became a fine 130er losing a debated one vs. Freitas, beating Chico in the trilogy, losing to Castillo in a debated one, beating Campbell, stopping Katsidis after he was supposed to be shot, having a close one vs. JMM before the stoppage loss.

He faced elite pro opposition for 10 years, and only got decisively beat at the end of his career (Santa Cruz robbery, JMM). Castillo is close 2nd as I personally had him beating Mayweather, and we know the rest of his resume. But as I've said, I prefer Casamayor slightly because of the Gold Medal.

Who was the best Casa beat? And he clearly lost to Castillo, and Santa Cruz.

Yep, it was close but Castillo was also pounding the **** out of Casamayor by the end of that fight. Casa was lucky to make it the distance.

Cruz is nobody to talk about in this discussion just like Tiberi is nothing to talk about when talking about James Toney. Casa beat Chico and Campbell. I believe Casa lost to Castillo, but it was not a clear cut win. Castillo won on the strength that he came forward the entire fight.
