For a few years Tyson was on his way to becoming one of the ATG, but after Douglas he was just a shell of his former self. Lewis, on the other hand had a longer reign, but was stooped in his prime by Rochman and McCall. 2 boxers that aren't HOF fighters. If they fought in their primes I wouldn't be surprised to see Tyson stop Lewis but Lewis will go down as the better fighter with an *.

    Lewis #3-5
    Tyson #7-12

Currently, Lewis at 4, Tyson at 8.

Lewis bet more punchers than any fighter aside from Ali and Lewis. He beat more top 10 contenders than any fighter aside from Ali and Lewis. He is a huge and formidable man.

Tyson. You never saw him starched in the early rounds by second raters in the heart of his career.

Lewis is probably the most overrated HW champ today.

not a versatile fighter??? have some of you guys even seen vintage tyson? guy hit u from everywhere (even the jab was decent) fast. PfP no 1 two years as a hw says everything you need to know who was the more versatile fighter. yest tyson began looking a little one dimensional even before prison and certainly after prison but you can't deny him the 4 years of clinics and beat downs he put on.

tyson had oen way of winning that is not versatile, lewis could out box you behind the jab, he could box and throw the power shot or he could rush in with the big shots. Do you know what versatile means:huh
