Canelo on resume. Very close in every other department but imo Crawford is a better overall fighter

Canelo. Not even close. He is hands down #1 top dog in the sport by probably any and every reasonable measurement.

    Forget pound-for-pound. It's pointless.

I have to put Canelo at #1. He's earned that inside the ring. Wins over: Kovalev, GGG, 'No Doubt' Trout, Cotto, Lara, Danny Jacobs, Angulo, and plenty of others than I'll continue to remember after I post this.

There are valid critiques of Canelo (PEDs and some friendly officiating), but the guy has a proven track record of dispatching elite fighters in decisive fashion.

Crawford is probably the superior fighter skill for skill, but he has more to prove to unseat Canelo. If he cleans out 147 and beats Spence, Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter, Thurman, and Pac, then he's number 1

I got Crawford at number one so that answers that question.

    Then the rest.

Canelo #1 due to superior resume but Crawford is the more complete and versatile fighter. Canelos feet and gastank let him down, I don’t see any glaring weaknesses in Buds game like that.

Canelo has the better resume, Crawford is the more complete fighter, and has beaten his opponents more decisively.

Inoue last good win was against a fighter older and more shot than Brook.

Crawford is great, but hasn't fought at the level of competition Canelo has.

The problem with Canelo is he did not really defeat his biggest rival.

History will remember that rival was past prime.

    It's a tenuous claim to #1.

If you ignore the asterisks next to a lot of Canelo's wins, then he's streets ahead of Crawford.

P4P is a load of garbage

Stick Crawford in with Spence then you won't be harping on about P4P
