at the time jones was the best p4p....Calzaghe was struggling with Robin Reid...

no one gave a crap about Joe till he faced Lacy.

I don't know who you are, tonight is the first time I've read your posts. You were acting like a little child and people responded to that. If you want to talk boxing, fine. If you want to act like a ****, go elsewhere.

It true that it was never a marketable fight. The fact that when they did eventually fight, the event was a modest failure, showed that they missed whatever slight opportunity they had, which probably would have been right about the time RJJ fought Woods.

you werent acting like a little child?? read through my posts-i never used a swear word or anything...i may have hurt your feelings with hopkins, fine. You were blatantly hating on calzaghe as you like to do...i was merely coming back. It gets boring sometimes, maybe you should get over him....or maybe not:bbb

Roy wasnt going to give up his shot at a HW title to fight Calzaghe bud.

And after it, as most people like to say, Roy was done.

I don't hate Calzaghe at all, and even if I did, people who know me on ESB know that I'm an objective and fair poster.

But I'm not going to deny that I think most of his career has been a sham, and his current status is undeserved.
