Copy that. Hopkins was not yet Hopkins when Roy beat him in a boring scrap.

It's because the Classic is full of hardcore Audley A-Force Harrison fans. No other HW can get a look in.

Pacquiao and it is not even close.

Jones NEVER beat a unified, lineal, or undisputed champion in his whole career.

Also, P4P Pacquiao would shatter Roy's fragile Glass Jaw.

Instead of starting a separate thread, what about Floyd or Roy?
Both huge talents, but their resume's let them down.

McGrain I think had one that didn't quite say who was rated more highly but I think it was who is the better fighter. I recall it being a good enough discussion.

Pacquiao's ability is still very overlooked. Do people think he racked up those accomplishments due to some kind of voodoo magic?

What greater testament to a fighter's ability than his performances in the ring?

Yeah, now don't get me wrong. A-Force is clearly an ATG heavyweight or the man that decisioned Valuev wouldn't be entertaining the idea of fighting him. But I do feel when you compare him to Valuev, Force is more flash than substance and people are just falling for his effervescent personality and winning smile. As well as anti-Russian sentiment propaganda.

    Roy ..

People forget how dominant he was in his prime ..Dominating former champions and hall of famers .Also he is the only man in history to have never been hit in one fight ..Yes Manny has the deeper resume but he never dominated the fight game like a prime Jones .Its easy to rank Manny now to the johnny come lately's but please let me know how dominant Manny has been ? And that whole argument about Hopkins not being prime well after that loss to Jones he didn't lose for the next 10 yrs ! And if Jones had not moved up to super middle to go after the man in the division Hopkins historical reign at middle would have never happened .

Lets be subjective when it comes to comparing these 2 and not just use his 2 KO losses as a measuring stick as most fans under the age of 30 tend to do !

P4P Pac may very well beat Roy. The power to crack Roys chin and the speed and athletecism to catch him.

In terms of achievements, not close.

    When was that?

Even if thats true that he wasnt hit in one of his fights hes not the only one who has done that theres other examples of fights where one of the fighters wasnt hit.

Did you know that in Pac's last 5 fights, out of a scheduled 60 rounds, Pac has only lost 1 round? His opponents were David Diaz, Ricky Hatton, Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto, and Joshua Clottey, and thats in 3 different divisions, yet he only lost 1 round.

That's how dominant Manny has been.
