Err, no I was replying to your argument where you asked whether Jones 'would have lost a round to Hatton'.

I even quoted your post so that it would be obvious what I was replying to.

I think Roy was incredibly dominant and feared throughout most of his career until his slide. The separation or gulf between him and the rest was great for a longer period than Manny. It's friggen tough... but I'd have to lean towards RJJ, ignoring his recent fights.

Ah I was to lazy to go back .

Oh well either way that outcome was to be expected yet Jones gets tarnished for fighting no named fighters ..What diffrence does it makes if Manny he dominates names that are only hype ..Manny is great very accomplished but a prime vs prime match up Jones blows him out the water ..Too much speed and power for Manny to handle considering how much he gets hit ..There now quote that .:good

I think this is a really interesting and important point, one which I mentioned earlier when I suggested that Roy was peerless. There are guys out there who can beat Manny, there are guys out there who have beaten him, or have run him very close. I don't believe anyone could have beaten the pre-Ruiz Roy Jones. That's kind of the bottom line for me.

Both natural phenomenons. Manny's obviously got a better resume though.

I love Jones especially in his prime but Manny's career is on a different level. Also Manny has the killer instinct and always does his best for the KO...something Jones never showed in his fights.

You talking later Jones or early Jones ? Because early Jones was a hell of a finisher ..

You and several others seemed to miss his point completely.

He was basically saying that not losing a round to Hatton isn't much of an achievement and that RJJ wouldn't have lost a round to fighters of a similar caliber,he wasn't saying that that Pac lost a round to Hatton.

You left a leeway there, but it has to be said that when PacDbest was spouting off these "delusional" prediction, you were right there saying pretty much the same thing. :good

Roid has the advantage because he was artificially made with undectable roids and drugs, like all american athletes. Is good to be an american when you have the money and technology to cheat and make everybody believe.

Overall boxing ability is Roy Jones, by a good margin.

Resume is Pac, by not as far margin as many people suggest.

Pac was starched early in his career, Roy was starched late. So Roy's post prime KO losses don't mean much in this argument.

I think Roy's resume is totally underrated on this board..

The green Hopkins argument is stupid as well. He was in his physical prime when Roy beat him, not as smart and dirty as he would once get, but still a very good fighter. Roy was also green in that fight, he was not a peak Roy by no means.

Hopkins also had 1 more pro fight than Roy, and despite the myth, Hopkins had a decent amateur career as well.

I can't believe people would argue that Pac has as much physical ability as Roy did, yeah Pac is great, but watching a Prime Roy had a wow factor to it that Pac doesn't quite provide in my opinion.

I think it is close, I may give the slight edge to Roy.

Mayweather > Pacquiao, can't see Pacq as fighter of the decade HONESTLY.

    Roy Jones easily.
