Who do you regard as the better Heavyweight LEWIS or ALI?

    Both have excellent resumes and achieved alot during their times. Both defeated the best boxers in their era and both will be noted as 2 great heavyweights.

    Im making this thread in response to a previous thread which stated that lewis was the best heavyweight since ali, and many people there regarded lewis as better than Ali and so I wanted to see everyones thoughts.

    Now this isnt a joke poll and shouldnt be treated as one. Please dont say stupid comments like, 'Ali would beat lewis anytime anyday' because lewis was a brilliant boxer and couldve been the best heavyweight regardless of the era and it could be argued that he has a better record than Ali!

    Non-debatable, really.

    Muhammad Ali is the most accomplished Heavyweight of all time, and has a ridiculously impressive win column.

    Ali on resume alone.
    Lennox was a hell of a fighter though and definitely up there

    Fair enough saying Ali, but you cant say hands down, or easily, or by a country mile because your just underrating lewis then

    lewis, modern athletes are superior guys, let's be realistic here

    and yes his wins are better, frazier would be lucky to be in the top 10 today

    Have you seen the heavyweight division right now?
    Fair enough I don't think it's as bad as some people say, but you don't have to do much to get into the top 10 really at all..
