Who do you regard as the better Heavyweight LEWIS or ALI?

Indeed! Any fool comparing Lewis to Ali knows and understands very little about the sport of boxing. This generally describes a good portion of UK and Danish fans.

really this debate is stupid... ali with a hand in the back was better than lewis, and it is not even close, ali did beat sonny liston, george chuvalo,henrry cooper,floyd patterson,joe frazier , ken norton, he did beat a prime foreman(a ****ing beast who destroyed frazier and norton) when ali was past his prime,ron lyle,joe bugner,earnie shavers,jerry quarry,jimmy ellis,cleveland williams...

lennox lewis did beat a shot holyfield ,a shot tyson, he was ko by rahman and oliver mccall, and bruno did hurt him seriously, lewis was a drunk. vitali klitschko was winning on the cards, lewis was lucky because vitali was easy to cut.simple. it is not even debatable

Resume wise it's Ali obviously.

so in other worlds lewis just isnt in Ali's class. Ali has a much better resume and is a better heavyweight h2h. and he didnt get KTFO'd by 1 punch by rahman or mccall.

Foreman says a lot of things. And Vitali isn't even a great heavyweight even comparing him to Lewis.

Lennox is my fav fighter ever but Ali was still a better fighter. Although I think Lennox could have held his own if the two ever met at their peaks.

 

Ali on resume, impact on the sport, etc but Lewis at his best is a H2H nightmare for most great heavies including Ali
