  2. lewis 27 votes lol, it is very funny. i feel sorry for the kids who did pick lewis, surely all them simpletons from uk who know **** about boxing

  3. lmao a prime george foreman 73-74 who faced frazier and norton would absolutely destroy lewis.

  4. 1_i am 6´1 and 220 pounds of pure muscle, you are probably a 160 pounds little kid with **** in your ass.
2_ i said that lewis was a great fighter but his chin was his great fault, ali was faster with legs and hands, he had by far better chin, he had more stamina, morr heart, he had better reflexes, better move of head, stronger mentally,he had more confidence in himself, ali was tested against harder punchers and stronger men than lewis.

Are there seriously people who think Frazier beats Ali in Manilla if he's allowed to come out for the 15th? The punishment he took in that fight was disgusting, and by the 14th his face was battered, bloody, and swollen, and he was being hit and hurt by nearly every punch Ali threw. Assuming the 15th goes any different is nonsense. The man could have been killed. Futch saved Frazier from himself, too brave for his own good.

and to say Foreman was winning the fight

Lewis had a wonderful skill-set by the end of his career. He showed he could handle just about any style of fighter. I will say I thought Ali's competition was stiffer, but he showed difficulty in handling certain styles of fighters. Lennox had a response for most anything his opponent had to offer.

That being said, Lewis never had to accomplish or go through what Ali had to. It's not being said that Lewis didn't have to ability to overcome like Ali did, but Lewis was never in battles like the fights with Frazier, Norton, Lyle, Foreman, etc. The only times he was ever tested like that, were against Frank Bruno (landed a lucky shot), Oliver McCall (got knocked out), Shannon Briggs (came back to knock Briggs out), and Vitali Klitschko (won on cuts despite being down on the scorecards.)

The truly great fighters are those who show the ability to overcome. When the going gets tough, they pull through and pull out the victory. Ali showed that probably better than any fighter I have ever seen. Lewis was an excellent fighter, but he never showed me he had that ability to the level Ali had it. Through all calculations, I would go with Ali.

H2H it is hard to say, but Ali prob wins 7 out of 10.

on resume though, Ali's victories over frazier and foreman trump Lewis's over tyson and holyfield.

Ali's victories over liston, norton, shavers, bonavera, chuvalo, young also trump Lewis's over tua, briggs, morrison, rahman, mccal, bruno.

it is close in the sense both have amazing resume's, but not so close that it is debatable.

Ali is a solid few places higher than Lewis IMHO

Head to head either might win.

Hell, look how many voted for Ali.

Boxing fans are notorious for being wrong almost all of the time.

which moron said frazier would not be in the top 10 today?

the guy only ever lost to ali and foreman. plus he beat an Ali coming off two solid victories.

today there is only vitali who could make a competitive fight with frazier. Frazier would batter everyone else easy IMO.

This is a joke right? i admire Lennox and he does have an impressive resume however Alis resume is leagues aboves Lennoxs.

Ali has 2 wins over Liston, 2 over Frazier, 1 over Foreman and thats just the start.
Lewis has an old Holyfield and a 15 years past his best Tyson, and theres no Bowe...
The rest you can go figure.
Yes Liston was old too, but he was the champ at the time and Ali schooled him
Compare that to Holyfield vs Lewis which was close and controversial.
