Why do either deserve to be disrespected? Both given everything they can to be as good as possible, just because Audley wasn't as good a pro as expected after winning the gold medal, and just because Haye lost to the best heavyweight on the planet, does not warrant disrespect from anyone

I guess the real shame is both massively under achieved. Obviously Harrison more then Haye. But both should have done a lot better in the HW division and both came up well short.

Harrison has been involved in some real stinkers and Haye's performance against Wlad was awful

I don't disrespect either but I respect Harrison more as a man. He is not as good as Haye as a boxer but showed more courage in the ring imo. He came across very well in big brother as well and just seems like a decent chap chasing the unattainable dream, hopefully he gives up on it though. I pick Audley on the poll cause I find him more inspiring despite his short falls, he will still go for his dream even though he has been humiliated, that's strength of character, he didn't let it destroy him.

Haye is the better fighter so I have more respect for him there but he has not achieved as much as he could have, he seemed too scared of losing to push himself and its a shame he played it so safe against Klit as he had the ability to hurt him. I still respect Haye but the toe thing is a major black mark, he should overcome that if he can because it will be a foot note. Its not a good look as a boxer showing your poor little pinky after a fight, did him no good at all.

I admire how Haye can generate a lot of money and get people interested in his fights. He made a lot of money at heavyweight and didn't get hurt, that's good for him and his family.

I don't respect him. He chose to act like a classless idiot to promote himself against the Klitschkos, probably because he's partly a classless idiot. Then, given the chance to be gracious in defeat and come across as a normal and reasonable man, he instead chose to parade a bruised toe around to alibi himself, which of course backfired.
Since then, he's continued to be a bore and over the last two years he's often been yapping about some imaginary comeback and imaginary retirements.
He's certainly lost the respect of many people, and for understandable reasons.

Audley Harrison, former gold medallist, has been so far discredited as a competent boxer, ridiculed and mocked, that he's at least worthy of a little sympathy and good will.
