On the other hand , Davis is a warrior who PUSHED trough adversity, he went into the Isaac cruz fight with a broken hand since training camp and injured it in the fifth round! Does he deserve props for fighting injured or should he have fixed the hand first a la Ryan Garcia? Either way he didn't use it as an excuse and showed extreme toughness, fighting with one arm and getting the w. No blame, just fighting. Also kingry is all about making the big fights, even Manny Pacquiao was on his radar at one point.,. But, Davis is beating everybody however he is using the Mayweather blueprint. good fight. both careers would survive a loss. neither one can call themselves complete. the kind of heart that makes a difference is shown in tougher fights than theyve been in. so no telling who they are when theyre struggling to breath and head is swimming from head shots. they havent folded under punches yet.
Tank. Garcia had my respect when he showed the confidence to step up and fight the big names. He pulled out of 2 fights back 2 back, maybe for legit reasons but still. Now he resurfaced talking about Tank cant beat him? Ok, well hopefully if they offer him the fight next he steps up and goes through with it, because if he turns it down, his credibility will take a massive hit, even more than what it has now.

Garcia would beat him (he's actually fought someone with a pulse at this weight) and Ellerbee has stated Tank will only be allowed to fight bums on PBC and has no interest in fighting the likes of Loma, Haney, George and Teo. Garcia is immature and has more holes in his game. He has a much higher ceiling than Tank, more power and better frame for a LW. Tank knocks out little guys moving up and has carefully selected opponents designed to make him look good. Doesn’t always work as Cruz proved. Tank appears to be at his best right now and if Garcia gets back to Campbell fight form, I think he would knock out Tank. He might also get knocked down in the process. I don’t think Tank can knock him out. Good fight between two colorful personalities. I hope it happens in ‘22.
